Happily Ever After

Sometimes a man can meet his destiny on the path he takes to avoid it. We may not choose the time when love enters our lives, but the time choses us to finally take the steps down loves corridor leaving us forever changed for each experience we have.
No every couple takes the straightest path on their way to find a ‘one true love’
If only the mysteries of love and life were ever that simple. Foolish hearts be wary, and young hearts run free.

Ours was a highly addictive passionate affair, completely out of control, it consumed us and inflamed our desire for each other entirely. I can’t even begin to explain this fire we had, it nearly burnt us alive at times. Smashing our hearts into little fractions. A fire that burnt with no matches, only lit by the spark that existed between us, is everlasting and very real.

There was no control over the mojo we had in the beginning. It took over our lives and changed our direction completely, but I guess that’s what love is, shaping and changing you.

Looking back on those years when we were just dating I can safely say I’m now a very patient and changed woman, I see what power love can hold.

… I see the journey of mountains and jagged rocks I’ve crawled through to get here, the scars we endured, like warriors….the sacrifices we made… I’m not going to lie it was painful at times for both of us, but all worth it.

So here’s to my “happy ever after”…..and here’s to yours too if you’ve been licked by loves the tongue of fire and dare to take the leap into that deep abyss called love.
