I discovered Bio-Oil and its numerous benefits seven years ago when I was looking to minimise a scar I had on my body. As a model I needed to find something to make my skin look as flawless as possible and with a little research on the internet I found Bio-Oil, ordered some and it worked nicely, and during the process I noticed how soft it made my skin feel.
It wasnt long before I started using Bio-Oil as a regular part of my beauty regiment, using it as an all over body moisturizer and to even out my skin tone for photo shoots so its safe to say I’m a long-term fan.
Its one of those multi uses skin care products you can use it for Scars, Stretch Marks, Uneven Skin Tone, Aging Skin, Dehydrated Skin can also be used as an after-sun treatment and bath oil. Formulated with PureCellin oil to make the product easy for your skin to absorb.
If you’ve not used it before, then let me talk a bit about the oil. It has a lovely light scent (that’ll be the Calendula; lavender, chamomile and rosemary oil) plus Vitamin A and E. It contains no preservatives. Although it’s an oil, it’s not too greasy. Apply it after a shower and then get dressed – I’ve not had any problems with it getting on my clothes (I might be a bit more careful if I was wearing something delicate like silk though!)
A little goes a long way too, which is always a bonus.
I havent gone as far to use it on my face, but I know you can use it to even out acne scars and its suitable for all skin types, I just have an aversion for using oils on my face.
Because its winter I’ve been using Bio-Oil as an all over body moisturizer as I have the heating on all day and it stops the winter dry skin itch and the scent doesn’t overpower my perfume.
This is a unsponsored post, I genuinely use Bio-Oil as part of my beauty regiment for the past several years of my modelling career. I wasn’t given any product to write this post.
